最近のスカパーは、チャンネル数も増えたし、FOXがガンガン新ドラマを投入してくるので、やっと払っているお金以上に楽しめてる気がします。
よくばりぱっくもお得だしね♪

で、久々に楽しみな新ドラマ！





「Castle」キャッスル。

Nathan Fillion主役で正面に居るので分りやすい。

未だにWhedonverseに居る人にとっては、「セレニティー」のマル、「バフィー」のイカれた神父なので、それだけで楽しみなわけです。
「デスパレートな妻たち」にもDr. Adam Mayfair役で出ていたので、知名度もちょっと上がってるかな？

昨日焦って、ヤバい初回を見逃した〜！(￣Д￣；；と思ったら、来週（15日（月））からでした。(・_・;)




で、前面に出てくるのが主役のティモシー・ハットンなので（「5デイズ 」の人）、ちょっとノーマークだったのが、「Leverage」（3月30日(火)　22:00〜）。

Christian Kaneが出てるじゃないですか！
もう！大将ったら！

この人も「Angel」ファンにとっちゃ、半永久的にリンゼイなわけです。

Sci-Fiチャンネルだか、syfiチャンネルだか、Universalチャンネルだか知らないけど、あそこのチャンネルは早急に「Angel」をスタートさせるべきです。（笑）

ついでに「Close to Home」もどっかでやってくれ。
Jennifer Finniganの鼻の穴が気になってしょうがないドラマでしたけど、FOXで放送中の「女検視医ジョーダン」から忽然と消え失せたので、その後が気になります。

そんなわけで、最近は自分の中で海外ドラマは終わっちゃたの？とちょっと淋しく思ってたんですが、そんなに衰えてもいないような気がしてきて、ちょっとブログも更新マメにしちゃおうかな？なんて思ってます。（微妙だけど^^;）

噂によると、Knightは、クリエイターのShonda Rhimesと衝突。
Georgeについてのストーリーの方向性に不満を持っていたよう。

シーズン5をまだ見ていないのでよく分かりませんが、

Fall's still months away, but one of last season's bigger Grey's Anatomy cliffhangers has already been resolved: Sources confirm to me exclusively that T.R. Knight's wish to be released from his contract has been granted. The official decision, I'm told, came down in the past few days, just as many of his castmates began receiving their formal pickup letters from ABC.

What does this news mean for George? What will Knight do next? And what about Izzie? Find out after the jump...

The actor's exit closes yet another rocky chapter for the embattled primetime soap, one that opened with Isaiahgate and worsened when, amid rumors that Knight was clashing with series creator Shonda Rhimes, George O'Malley was backburnered. Finally, Knight grew so fed up with his character's lack of storyline that he asked if he could check out three years before his deal expired. After that, all indications were that he would be let go, although Rhimes didn't make a final decision until recently. (Contractually speaking, she had until June 30 to make up her mind.)

Last month, Rhimes told me that George's relatively light storyline this year was the result of the normal "ebbs and flows" of ensemble television. But she did acknowledge that he was intentionally written lighter during the last half of the season so that viewers wouldn't think it odd that he was absent from the season finale -- something that was necessary to preserve the episode's biggest twist: that George was actually a disfigured John Doe who had been hit by a bus. "I really wanted you to not notice that he wasn't there for most of this episode," she said. "I don't think anybody noticed because of the way we laid it out this season."

Knight's departure would seem to confirm that George doesn't survive, although fans have wondered whether Rhimes is planning to pull an Elizabeth Reaser (Jane Doe/Rebecca) and have him live, only to be replaced by another actor, thanks to plastic surgeon Sloane's handiwork. That's "hilarious, ridiculous," the boss has said. However, I've heard that she was interested in having Knight appear in next season's first three episodes, but a short-term deal could not be brokered.

What will Knight do now? Per an insider, the theatrically-trained thesp is in talks to start 2010 by headlining a Broadway revival of Lend Me a Tenor, the classic farce he recently did a reading of with Alfred Molina, Tony Shalhoub, and Marian Seldes.

Reps for Knight and ABC declined to comment.

Now that the question of George's future seems to have been answered, another puzzler moves to the forefront: What's going to happen to Katherine Heigl's Izzie, whose life also hung in the balance in last May's capper? シーズン4の流れや、最終回の展開からも
あ、やっぱり・・・という感じです

なんだか
ジェンセンもジャレッド（最近はJ2と言うらしい^^;）も
カナダにいるのが疲れた様子ですし

綺麗にシーズン5でbig finaleを迎えて欲しいものです

Created by Eric Kripke, Supernatural revolves around the Winchester brothers and their ongoing battle against demons, and any other hellion you can think of. Well, Kripke says that he’s always envisioned the Winchester boys’ story as a five year arc and intends to keep it that way. He recently told Entertainment Weekly, “Despite what the network and the studio may or may not want, I don’t have more than five seasons of story.”

Though it’s unlikely that the CW execs will be ready to let one of their most successful shows go, they may not have a choice. Kripke says, “I certainly would be willing to make sure there are enough villains and heroes around to continue a new story line, and I would be around to answer a few questions ― that’s it. I’m outta here. There’s no way I’m doing season six.”

”スペルは間抜け（goofy）だけど発音は一緒”だそうです。(^_^;)

ロゴ変えたdocomoみたいなもんか？

変更の理由は、

１・放送しているのがサイエンスフィクションだけではないから。
２・Sci-FiはScience Fictionの略で、オリジナルの言葉でないから。

みたいな感じらしいです。


Sci-fiが日本に来てから、たくさん面白いドラマが見られるようになって嬉しいです。

Syfy_logo_240 Sci Fi Channel is giving itself a makeover.

The NBC Universal-owned cable network will change its name to Syfy in the summer. And yes, despite the goofy spelling, it will sound phonetically the same.

The reasons for the name change are twofold. Firstly, it allows the network to demonstrate that it should not be so narrowly defined. Already the Sci Fi channel has been known to program content that isn't strictly science fiction proper -- such as fantasy, paranormal, mystery, action and adventure. The new Syfy will continue with this diverse programming.

Secondly, the name Syfy -- unlike the generic entertainment genre "sci fi" -- will allow the network to create a uniquely ownable trademark. So if you read Syfy, you know exactly where it's coming from.

Scifi_logo_240 Packaged with the new name is a new logo that introduces the network's new brand message and tagline: "Imagine Greater." The old Sci Fi logo pictured a ringed planet, which fit better with the traditional science fiction perception.

"While continuing to embrace our legacy and our core audience, we needed to cultivate a distinct point of view with a name that we could own that invites more people in and reflects our broader range of programming," says Sci Fi president Dave Howe. "Syfy allows us to build on our 16 year heritage of success with a new brand built on the power that fuels our genre: the Imagination. Syfy ushers in a new era of unlimited imagination, exceptional experiences and greater entertainment that paves the way for us to truly become a global lifestyle brand."

The Syfy name will be extended to the channel's online, digital, international and other business ventures

Syfy will launch its new brand on July 7th in conjunction with its new drama "Warehouse 13" and the return of "Eureka."

The "Heroes" sweethearts have called it quits, reports Usmagazine.com.

A source close to the couple tells the magazine that it was the age and lifestyle differences that caused the split last week. At 19, Panettiere "is young. She likes to go out in the Hollywood scene and that's not his style," whereas Ventimiglia at 31 "has been concentrating on work on his production company [Divide Pictures]."

Check out photos of Hayden and Milo together on "Heroes."

Ventimiglia reportedly had a crush on his co-star and made his feelings known as soon as she broke up with "Laguna Beach" alum Stephen Colletti. Because of the age gap, they tried to keep their relationship a secret, but finally made it public in late 2007.

On "Heroes," Panettiere plays Claire Bennet, the niece of Peter Petrelli, played by Ventimiglia.

The cast for the "NCIS" spinoff is filling out nicely.

Louise Lombard, Peter Cambor and Daniela Ruah are the latest three names to join the spinoff of "NCIS," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The trio joins Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J, who are currently in negotiations for the two leads in the spinoff.

Lombard, who has worked on CBS previously on "CSI," is set to play the female lead Clara, an sharp investigator who used to be a major in the military police.

Cambor, recently on "Notes From the Underbelly," will portray operational psychologist Nate, who acts as the team's conscience and as a walking cultural encyclopedia.

Finally, Ruah will play the bright and wide-eyed Kensi, who studied forensics and criminology in college.

The spinoff's pilot episode will air as an episode of "NCIS" before becoming a show in its own right.

The show's final season has followed brothers Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), along with a Homeland Security agent ( Michael Rapaport) working to take down the Company, the shadowy firm that initially framed Lincoln and set the whole thing in motion.

This season felt like a natural end point for the show, FOX Entertainment chief Kevin Reilly says: "To keep it going was going to be, creatively, really stretching the concept."

That said, Reilly thinks the show's producers "have a really cool ending" in mind for the finale.

The final run is currently set for four episodes. Reilly says there's some chance a couple extra episodes could be tacked on, but the network hasn't confirmed them yet.

密かにチョコチョコと出てるらしいけど、日本で見れないか、「2話で終わりかよ！」な打ち切りドラマばっかり。^^;
「ER シーズン15」には医者役で出てるらしいので、そのうち日本でも見れるネ。

今度出演するのは新しくCWで始まる「Light Years」というドラマ。

Shiriは、朝のラジオのホスト役Cate Campbellで、16年前に養子に出した娘Lux(Brittany Robertson)と再会するお話し。

父親役にKristoffer Polaha、娘のボーイフレンド役にKerr Smith。

Shiriといえば、いつまでも「ROSWELL」のLizのイメージがありますが、そんな彼女ももう30歳。
母親役でも変じゃないんですねぇ・・・

「ROSWELL」はSci-Fiチャンネルで放送中！
やっぱり人気ドラマなんだね〜。

新しいドラマは日本でも見れるといいな。

Shiri Appleby will play a woman who's confronted by her long-lost teenaged daughter

Shiri Appleby, who hasn't had any longterm success on TV lately, hopes that returning to her old stomping grounds will work.

The former "Roswell" star and actors Kristoffer Polaha and Kerr Smith have signed on to star in The CW's hourlong pilot "Light Years," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Appleby will play a morning radio host, Cate Campbell, who has been tracked down by her long-lost child Lux (Brittany Robertson), a foster kid who decides on her 16th birthday to track down her biological parents. She finds Appleby and bar owner Nick "Baze" Basile (Polaha), who haven't spoken to each other since that fateful one-night stand in high school.

Adding to the mix is Campbell's boyfriend Ryan (Smith), who is her co-host on the show.

Liz Tigelaar, who has written for "Dirty Sexy Money" and "Brothers & Sisters," penned the pilot, which Gary Fleder will direct.

Appleby was best known as the waitress Liz, who fell for alien Max on "Roswell" on The WB, the predecessor of The CW. She most recently appeared in USA's "To Love & Die," the short-lived "Six Degrees," and on the big screen in "Charlie Wilson's War."

Smith is another WB alum from "Dawson's Creek" and has appeared on "Eli Stone." Polaha has more recent, yet short-lived CW credits, having appeared on the MRC-produced Sunday night drama "Valentine."

すでに旧作になってたし、枚数少なくて良かった。

「ラリーのミッドライフクライシス」に例の白髪の人が出た時は、俳優の名前そっちのけ（ってか知らん）で、「アーサー・フロビシャーだ！！！」と一人で興奮してました。^^;
Ted Dansonっていう人らしい。

もうアメリカのドラマもネタ切れだろぉ^^;な〜んて思ってると、こんな爆弾ドラマが出てくるから面白くてやめられません。

そんな考え出すと止まらない、ドキドキ感たっぷりのドラマですが、ついにシーズン2が09年1月7日（米）から！

新シーズンにはティモシー・オリファント、ウィリアム・ハート、マーシャ・ゲイ・ハーデンなどが出るそうで、やっと出始めたスチール写真や動画などで飢えをしのぎますわ。

The season premiere opens on Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne), who's swirling a glass of wine and talking to someone off-camera. You don't know who, and you're not quite sure what she's talking about. The scene fades to black, and the words "Six Months Earlier" flash on screen.

Welcome back to one of the twistiest shows on television. Season two of Damages (which premieres Wednesday on FX) features the same nonlinear storytelling style and likely just as many sharp plot turns, but one of the show's three creators thinks that fans have come to expect not knowing what to expect.

"One of our mantras is that nothing is as it seems, and it seems that the audience very much got on board with that," says Glenn Kessler, who created the series with his brother Todd and Daniel Zelman. "So there was a level of paranoia, even amongst viewers as they were watching, that when they were watching people lie they suspected it, and when they were watching people tell the truth they suspected them of lying. ...

"It very much feels like the audience has been educated on how to watch the show, and it's fun for us because you know things are working on more than one level."

The three producers and star Glenn Close, whose ruthless lawyer Patty Hewes is in Ellen's crosshairs as the season opens, spoke about the new season -- which features new cast members William Hurt, Timothy Olyphant and Marcia Gay Harden -- in a conference call in December. Some highlights:

Character actor Mark Rolston (Aliens, Cold Case, Profiler, etc.) has been cast in the recurring role of Alastair, the latest demon hell-bent on terrorizing the Brothers Winchester. His first airdate is Nov. 13.

The original breakdown for Alastair described him as a "calm and composed demon with a placid smile that belies his simmering sadism and evil. He's one of the top demons in Hell. He's electrifyingly powerful."

In other words, he's scarier than Lilith, right? Not necessarily, says a Supe source. "He knows Lilith from Hell, but it's unclear exactly which of them is the big Big Bad -- or if it's even one of them," whispers my snitch. "There are a lot of new mythological elements and characters coming into play this season."

My guess? The dude outranks Lilith. You agree? Disagree? And regardless of where he fits into Hell's hierarchy, you have to admit this is a pretty cool piece of casting.

今年はAMCの『Mad Men』、FXの『ダメージ』とHBOのミニシリーズとケーブルが復活？
Nationalは『LOST』が復活して『HEROES』『Grey's』が消えました。
コメディーは特に変わりなし。

最近やっと楽天レンタルで予約しておいた「アントラージュ★オレたちのハリウッド」が到着したので観ました♪
そしたら、「FOX ライフ 10月よりスカパー!で放送開始」だってさ。(ーー;)
続きを借りなくて良くなったわネ。^^;

毎年ジェレミー・ピヴェンが受賞しているので、てっきり主役かと思っていたら違うんですね。
ドラマは、スターと取り巻きの日常が中心のMTVが得意そうなリアリティーのドラマ版みたいな感じでした。
E役のKevin Connollyは、「THE OC」のBenjamin McKenzie崩れみたい。(笑)

『Weeds』が観たかったけど、再放送がない。涙）
FOXライフって観れないときは「いいなぁ〜」と思っていたけど、よく番組表を見たら、なんかFOXのゴミ捨て場みたい…(^_^;)

今年はAMCの『Mad Men』、FXの『ダメージ』とHBOのミニシリーズとケーブルが復活？
Nationalは『LOST』が復活して『HEROES』『Grey's』が消えました。
コメディーは特に変わりなし。

最近やっと楽天レンタルで予約しておいた「アントラージュ★オレたちのハリウッド」が到着したので観ました♪
そしたら、「FOX ライフ 10月よりスカパー!で放送開始」だってさ。(ーー;)
続きを借りなくて良くなったわネ。^^;

毎年ジェレミー・ピヴェンが受賞しているので、てっきり主役かと思っていたら違うんですね。
ドラマは、スターと取り巻きの日常が中心のMTVが得意そうなリアリティーのドラマ版みたいな感じでした。
E役のKevin Connollyは、「THE OC」のBenjamin McKenzie崩れみたい。(笑)

『Weeds』が観たかったけど、再放送がない。涙）
FOXライフって観れないときは「いいなぁ〜」と思っていたけど、よく番組表を見たら、なんかFOXのゴミ捨て場みたい…(^_^;)

当初は11月スタート予定でしたがが、新しい局でいいスタートを切る為みたいです。

新シーズンでは舞台がLos Angelesに変わるという噂も聞きましたが、もしそうなら雰囲気が変わりそうですね。

番組の製作総指揮でホストのハイジ・クルム、審査員のマイケル・コース、ニーナ・ガルシア、アドバイザーのティム・ガンも変わらず出演予定だそうです。


わたし、引っ越してから趣味のガーデニングが出来なくなったので、最近はソーイングの趣味を始めました。(*^_^*)

自分で色々と作って思ったけど、やっぱりProject Runwayの人たちはすごい！
オリジナルパターンを引けるのもすごいし、それを縫って形に出来るのもすごいよ〜。

それで、ちょっと途中で行き詰まった時には、ティム・ガンの「Make it work!（形にしよう）」の台詞を思い出して頑張ってます。^^;

"In order to ensure that 'Project Runway' gets the launch this outstanding series deserves, we are planning to premiere its first season on Lifetime in January 2009," the network says in a statement. "We look forward to ringing in the New Year by giving 'Project Runway's' loyal fans a superlative season six."

Lifetime also says that host/executive producer Heidi Klum, judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia and fashion mentor Tim Gunn will all make the transition to the show's new home.

"Project Runway" ends its five-season run on Bravo next month. With the delay in the Lifetime launch, the show will return to its normal schedule of two cycles per year. A specific premiere date will be announced later.

当初は11月スタート予定でしたがが、新しい局でいいスタートを切る為みたいです。

新シーズンでは舞台がLos Angelesに変わるという噂も聞きましたが、もしそうなら雰囲気が変わりそうですね。

番組の製作総指揮でホストのハイジ・クルム、審査員のマイケル・コース、ニーナ・ガルシア、アドバイザーのティム・ガンも変わらず出演予定だそうです。


わたし、引っ越してから趣味のガーデニングが出来なくなったので、最近はソーイングの趣味を始めました。(*^_^*)

自分で色々と作って思ったけど、やっぱりProject Runwayの人たちはすごい！
オリジナルパターンを引けるのもすごいし、それを縫って形に出来るのもすごいよ〜。

それで、ちょっと途中で行き詰まった時には、ティム・ガンの「Make it work!（形にしよう）」の台詞を思い出して頑張ってます。^^;

This is just the latest speedbump in the seventh season of the Emmy-winning drama.

The show's producers have been quite candid about the different false starts for the season, shifts in plot that caused several delays last summer. After production actually started rolling, the writers strike interrupted things after the competition of the season's eighth episode, causing fans to have to go a season without a new chapter of the Kiefer Sutherland-fronted series.

The show returned to production in April on both seventh season episodes, as well as the two-hour telefilm which will air in November and serve as a bridge to new episodes.

Because of the eight episodes in the can and the early production start, the two-week hiatus won't have any impact on the 24 January premiere.

Few faces set for the show's seventh season include Jon Voight, Cherry Jones, Colm Feore, Sprague Grayden, Janeane Garofalo, Annie Wersching, Jeffrey Nordling, Rhys Coiro and John Billingsley.

この新キャラクターは、10月に放送される2時間の「前編（prequel）」で紹介されるらしい。

シーズン7の前半は、脚本家のストライキが始まる前に撮影しているので、ボイトの出番が来るのは、後半部分の撮影が開始されてからになる見込み。

「24」は有名人は出さないとか言っているけど、デニス・ホッパーとか出てたしね。

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the answer is "Yes."

Voight has signed on to play the nemesis to Kiefer Sutherland's Bauer on the upcoming season of "24."

The trade paper says that Voight's character, the man apparently behind the Season 7 terrorist threat, will be introduced in the two-hour "24" prequel set to premiere this November and currently shooting in South Africa. Because much of the first half of the "24" season was already shot last year before the writers strike, Voight's character may not be featured heavily until the second half of the season.

The trade paper has no additional details on Voight's character except to note that "24" has avoided high-profile villain casting since the first season, when Dennis Hopper popped up as Victor Drazen. We'd disagree, but mostly because we think folks like James Cromwell and Peter Weller are high-profile casting. Others may disagree.

Addition new faces on this season of "24" include Cherry Jones, Colm Feore, Sprague Grayden, Janeane Garofalo, Annie Wersching, Jeffrey Nordling, Rhys Coiro and John Billingsley.

Star Courtney Cox tells media her FX gossip-rag parody is canceled; so-so-reviewed dramedy may have been strike victim.

In FX's Dirt, former Friends star Courtney Cox plays the editor of a Hollywood tabloid magazine who uses nefarious means to dig up juicy gossip on celebrities. Life imitated art when Cox gave up a little dirt on herself at a charity event in Los Angeles yesterday.

Cox gives up scoop on her own show.

Speaking to reporters at an event supporting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Cox addressed the issue of whether Dirt--which she also produced with her husband David Arquette--would get picked up for a third season.

"It just got canceled," she said, according to TV Guide, quickly putting any speculation of a third season to rest.

Dirt premiered in early 2007, and its second season was shortened from 13 episodes to seven because of the writers' strike, something that may have led to its demise. The show received mixed ratings, but apparently could not draw enough of an audience.

Star Courtney Cox tells media her FX gossip-rag parody is canceled; so-so-reviewed dramedy may have been strike victim.

In FX's Dirt, former Friends star Courtney Cox plays the editor of a Hollywood tabloid magazine who uses nefarious means to dig up juicy gossip on celebrities. Life imitated art when Cox gave up a little dirt on herself at a charity event in Los Angeles yesterday.

Cox gives up scoop on her own show.

Speaking to reporters at an event supporting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Cox addressed the issue of whether Dirt--which she also produced with her husband David Arquette--would get picked up for a third season.

"It just got canceled," she said, according to TV Guide, quickly putting any speculation of a third season to rest.

Dirt premiered in early 2007, and its second season was shortened from 13 episodes to seven because of the writers' strike, something that may have led to its demise. The show received mixed ratings, but apparently could not draw enough of an audience.

It's very strange that Katherine Heigl's name is not on the TV academy's list of Emmy contenders after she won best supporting actress last year for "Grey's Anatomy."

Over the past few months, as Emmy campaign season began, Katherine Heigl didn't announce that she'd be bowing out. Her omission from the official ballot just happened to be noticed yesterday by one of our forum posters. So we asked Heigl: Whazzup?

"I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention," she tells Gold Derby. "In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials."

It's not uncommon for past winners to withdraw from Emmy consideration, but they usually do so because they're repeating champs who feel they've won enough and want to give others a shot. That's what Candice Bergen ("Murphy Brown") and Bill Cosby ("The Cosby Show, "The Bill Cosby Show," "I Spy") did.

But Heigl's only won once, and it was a jaw-dropping victory at that. She was so stunned to hear her name announced when the envelope was opened that she got caught on national TV gasping a profanity. Apparently, that's the same word she might use to describe what she thinks of the reduced story line she got on "Grey's Anatomy" this past season despite proving her dramatic chops at the last Emmys. Clearly, she believes she was gypped out of a juicy role in order to publicly declare that she wasn't "given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination." One of the few dramatic turns she had on the show this past season involved rescuing a deer that had caused a string of car accidents. Big deal. She didn't even get to rescue a human being.

Initially, when we spotted Heigl missing from the ballot, I wondered if she had just forgotten to submit her name for consideration. That happens quite often, but few stars admit it. One who did so, famously, was Tim Allen ("Home Improvement"), who staged an elaborate stunt back in the 1990s after confessing that he forgot to submit his nomination the previous year. The next year he had his paperwork delivered to the TV academy headquarters in North Hollywood by the University of Southern California marching band.

Hey, we're talking Hollyweird here. All sneaky angles must be explored.

Honestly, I think that was nice of her to do because she would have made the Top 10 (run-off). The door is now open for another actress, who may have had that great season, to get into that 10."

venom9176: "This is a pointed slam at the material she was given this season; there is going to be far more fallout from this than from pinning the blame on her publicist or agent or whoever was supposed to submit her. If she was going to lie to spare their feelings, she almost certainly wouldn't use this as a reason."

Michael Kennedy: "I think she is noble for doing it but I also agree that this is a slam at the show/writers/material given. She is not so innocent here -- had she felt someone else deserved a chance she should have said that and left it alone. She made a point to say it was material, what other reason would she say that for other than a slam? Remember this is the girl that made bad remarks about 'Knocked Up' after it was released and made her a movie star!"
